Everythings Coming up Pudding

This Saturday, Elwood got a taste of sweet, sweet freedom.
We decided to harness and leash him, and take him to the park for some outside time, grass and fresh air. We did not anticipate his slippery wiggily qualities, and the moment we opened his carrier door, he ran, which I expected, but then flipped around backwards and manuvered out of his harness, which I did not expect. He made a mad dash for a hill of shrubbery, and David bolted after him, flip flops flying off, tearing through the sticks and bushes up the side of the little hill, while I was frozen in disbelief. I thought kitty was gone for sure, but then David reached in and pulled him out by his fat little back, and brought him back to the carrier. The harness was tightened, and Mr. Pudding behaved himself after that. David spent the rest of the evening taking portraits of kitty. You can see his deformedness in this last shot.
