There is a new exhibit at the Fowler Museum at UCLA called "Steeped in History: The Art of Tea" on display Aug 16–Nov 29. I really want to go! Possibly Sunday if I'm back from Lompoc, or maybe the next weekend. I'm having my steaming morning cup of Earl Grey right now. Anybody want to go to a museum of tea with me? There is a great podcast on Stuff You Missed in History Class about the "Boston Tea Party" and the "East India Trading Co." that makes me really in the mood to go see this. I do! Though next Sunday my parents are going to be in town. Which is a first and will be interesting. I wonder if the gift shop will have lots of tea things.
