Then I noticed something happy! I love this furniture store because it has a big mural of a Diego Rivera type girl holding a big armfull of lillies, with tucans. The building was bright blue, and some jerk graffitied all over it, this really makes me mad. I don't care if people graffiti plain boring surfaces, but when there's a beautiful piece of art already filling the space why do they have to ruin it? It wasn't even good graffiti, it was crap. The guys that own the store were repainting it today, and it cheered me up. It' now a goldenrod yellow-orange, and all fresh and new.

Venice Blvd.
I was driving along Venice Blvd. on Friday and took this picture out my window of a local 7-11 converted into a Kwik-E-Mart for the Simpsons movie coming out. There was a line out the door to buy Squishees and other Simpson themed products. I thought it was cool, but I'd never stand in that line.
